Proceeds from the fundraiser will help with offsetting the cost of the spring orchestra trip along with the general orchestra budget, which includes the ability for us to continue bringing in our wonderful professional clinicians. Each student will receive half of the profits they bring in for the fundraiser. At the end of the fundraiser, the HOB will send an email letting each individual know how much they earned, which they can use towards enrichment fees, the spring trip, or any other orchestra related fees. There will also be gift card prizes for the overall top three sellers.

It has been a great and successful October for the Harrison Orchestra!

Our fall concert went very smoothly with the help of all the students and parents. Thank you to all the students for the dedication you put into each and every piece, your work truly paid off. Thank you to the parents and Booster club who are constantly putting in so much work to make the Harrison orchestra great. Last of all thank you to Mrs. Baddock for teaching the student how to be comprehensive musicians every single day in class. We couldn’t accomplish all that we do without everyone’s help.

Our annual Halloween party was truly a spooky success! Thank you to orchestra leadership for putting together the event! The night consisted of Halloween themed games, food, and ended with a costume contest.

Chamber orchestra has started off their holiday extravaganza preparations running, having a senior led rehearsal Monday afternoon. All the extra practice definitely paid off, and the group will definitely sound spectacular at the upcoming event on December 13.

Belk Charity Sale This Saturday!

We are partnering with Belk for their charity sale and it is this Saturday! We haven’t had anyone request any more tickets, but this is a great fundraiser for you to sell these tickets and the money goes right to your account. Just send in the money and we will send home your tickets!

This is very exciting and it is a private ticketed event on Saturday, November 5th from 6-10 AM but you are able to shop until 1 PM. The tickets are $5 and 100% of the ticket sales go to the student. The orchestra does get a portion of the purchased items if the customer present their HHS Orchestra ticket. You can sell tickets on your own and send in the money and we will send home your tickets through your child. The orchestra has a special hour on the sale date of Nov 5th from 8-9 AM. We will have students perform and we need other students dressed in their Harrison Orchestra gear to talk to customers, help them to their car, thank them for shopping and supporting our program, etc… Sign up in the orchestra room! We do have flyers available in the orchestra room so you can see all of the amazing sales. The first 100 people through the door get a Belk gift card ranging from $5 all the way up to $1000! Also your ticket gets you $5 off of your purchase on that day.
