CHICAGO 2020 Tour Refunds
UPDATE as of 8.19.2020
As of 8.19.2020, all orchestra families involved in the Chicago 2020 Trip should have received a refund from Music Travel Consultants as outlined in previous communications. In addition, the Harrison Orchestra Boosters (HOB) have mailed the last batch of individual checks to our orchestra families on 8.18.2020 for those who had a refund due to them.

TRIP PACKET AND CONSENT/PERMISSION FORM:
Please read the Chicago Trip Packet which includes details about the trip. All students must turn in a signed consent form and permission form by February 3.

ONLINE PAYMENTS & REGISTRATION:
We will be traveling to Chicago via a professional travel company called Music Travel Consultants. All parents will need to register their child for the trip through the Music Travel Consultants website. All remaining payments for the trip should be paid directly to Music Travel Consultants through their secure online payment site. Please take a moment to read the information below regarding the registration process.

Important Note from the Harrison Orchestra Boosters (HOB) regarding Chicago Trip payments:
Enrichment fees of $150 for the fall semester MUST be paid for trip payments to be accepted. We look forward to a wonderful trip to Chicago with your students!
PAYMENT DEADLINES (UPDATED)
$200 Deposit – September 6
Installment 2 – October 11
Installment 3 – November 8
Installment 4 – December 6
Final Balance – February 26
All payments should be made directly to Music Travel Consultants (see above “Online Payment Registration Instructions”)
Orchestra Travel Policy and Eligibility:
Should an incident occur deemed by the orchestra director severe enough that it warrants sending my child home, I acknowledge that I am responsible for all transportation (including air fare) for my child and an accompanying chaperone. I am also aware that NO REFUND will be given if my child is removed due to a Cobb County School District policy being broken. Any student enrolled in the full-year of orchestra class is eligible. Students must be currently active in the program when the trip occurs and must be in good standing with the school and organization. Students must maintain exemplary grades and conduct throughout the school year to be permitted to participate in this event. It is imperative that students maintain excellent discipline and grades throughout the year. ALL SCHOOL RULES ARE IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THE TRIP.
