Help the Harrison HS Chamber Orchestra get to Indianapolis for the
2025 Music for All National Concert Festival & GMEA In-Service Conference!

The Harrison Chamber Orchestra has been selected and invited to perform on the national stage at the 2025 Music for All National Concert Festival!
The 2025 MFA National Concert Festival consists of bands, orchestras, and percussion ensembles who submit recordings for evaluation by a national panel of adjudicators. To be selected and invited to perform at the national festival is an honor and signifies that we are among some of the best music programs in the country. Orchestras from around the nation including: California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington were selected for this year’s national festival. This is an honor for our orchestra program and the Harrison Chamber Orchestra is the only orchestra from Georgia selected for this year’s festival.

In addition to being selected for the 2025 Music for All National Festival, the Harrison Chamber Orchestra was also selected and invited to be a featured performance ensemble at the 2025 Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) In-Service Conference held annually in Athens, GA for music teachers around the state. Although there is not a state competition for orchestras, this is the closest thing to a state championship title that an orchestra can achieve in Georgia. We are incredibly honored to be selected and invited to perform on the state and national stages and this is a huge testament to the hard work and dedication of our orchestra students!

Traveling to Athens and Indianapolis comes at a cost for our student musicians and we are seeking to raise funds to help our orchestra travel to these locations to represent Harrison HS and the state of Georgia. There are couple of ways in which you can donate to our orchestra in order to help our orchestra get to Athens and Indianapolis.

  1. Donation Drive
If you would like to support our students directly so that all of the donations go towards the student’s traveling costs, you can donate to a specific student that you know or donate towards our F.A.N.S. Financial Assistance for Needy Students (FANS) fund, which financially helps specific students who are in need and can’t afford the entire cost of the trip to be able to travel. You can donate in 3 ways below:
    1. Donate via Zelle (1% will go to Zelle transaction fee)
    2. Donate via Paypal (approx. 3% will go to PayPal transaction fee)
    3. Donate via check (100% goes to student), add the students name or “FANS Fund” in the memo and mail to:
      Harrison Orchestra Boosters
      4500 Due West Rd.
      Kennesaw, GA 30152

  2. Sponsorship/Ad Campaign. We will be creating special programs for our GMEA performance in Athens, GA. We would love to partner with you in showcasing your business as a sponsor in our program. Our sponsors will have their advertisement and/or logos in our concert programs to be featured in the GMEA program and displayed on the screens at all of our home concerts we have at Harrison for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
Shout-outs for program. If you’d like to purchase a space on our program to give a shout-out/message/kind note for our orchestra or individual student in our program for GMEA, you may purchase space for $25.
This is a 50/50 fundraiser which means that 50% will go towards the orchestra general fund and 50% will go towards student credits that can be used towards anything orchestra related including enrichment fees, trips, etc.
